Imposing harsh judgments...
"Imposing
harsh judgements on your body limits the range of experiences you allow
yourself to enjoy. How many times has a wonderful day at the beach been
tainted by your judgements about how you look in a bathing suit?
Imagine how liberating it would be to happily walk across the warm sand
without feeling self-conscious. Think of all the activities in your life
that you have deferred until you look different, better, or perhaps
even perfect.
There is much documented proof that the mind and body are connected,
so acceptance of your body is not only essential for your emotional
well-being, it is essential for your physical health as well. Denying
your body complete acceptance can lead to illness, whereas practicing
acceptance can heal disease. The drive for self-improvement is
completely healthy as long as it comes from a place of self-love rather
than a feeling of inadequacy." -Andrew Adler

Self-acceptance is...
“Self acceptance is being loving and happy with who you are NOW. Some call it self-esteem, others self-love, but whatever you call it, you’ll know when your accepting yourself cause it feels great. Its an agreement with yourself to appreciate, validate, accept and support who you are at this very moment, even those parts you’d like to eventually change. This is important…even those parts you’d eventually like to change. Yes, you can accept (be okay with) those parts of yourself you want to change some day.” - Jennifer Hautman

Kill herself?
This is something that I found on tumblr here.
it comes with a TRIGGER WARNING: FAT HATE; SELF-HARM; SUICIDE
it comes with a TRIGGER WARNING: FAT HATE; SELF-HARM; SUICIDE
Upon seeing this photo someone commented: "i’m so sorry but i’d kill myself if i’d be this big :(("
This is the response: "Hear that? Kill herself if she was as big as me. There are more important things to live and die for in this world. Being that this is a photo of me, as BIG AS I AM, with my scars that are from trying to kill myself , I find it a very interesting response.
Killing yourself isn’t painless, friends. Trust and believe it took 70+ sutures and staples, three weeks in the hospital, one reconstructive surgery, and a year of physical therapy to learn that. And it had Nothing to do with my size, if you know anything about me you know that I am not only content but happy with my appearance. I love my body with all of its imperfections, scars, and rolls. It holds my sentience, my conscious life, and that is what is important."
